The islands of Ouessant and Molène
It is the ideal place for a return to the sources in all tranquility.
The island of Molène is a small island preserved in the sea of Iroise. Approximately 15 km from Le Conquet, it is the main island of the Molène archipelago. It measures 1200m by 800, or 72 hectares.
The borough and the port around which it is organized is located to the east, protected by the Ledenez, a small island that is attached to it by a foreshore at low tide. To the
west, opposite the island of Ouessant, is a landscape of characteristic Breton moorland.
Molène has a remarkable environment in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Armorique and the Biosphere Reserve of the Iroise Sea. The tour of the island represents 4km of coastal paths (1h15 of walk).
To see in Molène: The Semaphore and the House of the Insular Environment.
